What can I expect from my session?
My goal as a photographer is to help create a positive experience for my clients from start to finish. I will be there to help you choose a location that fits your style, give you advice to help with outfits if you would like extra help, and make it fun during your session by being creative and keeping your kids happy. You'll end up with a variety of both posed and candid images to enjoy for years to come.
How much experience do you have?
I've been a photographer for over 10 years. I got my first camera before I learned to ride a bike and have been in love with photography ever since. I enjoyed taking photography classes at Utah Valley University and Brigham Young University and also worked for several photography studios while in college. Since starting my business in 2013, I have been blessed with the opportunity to work with so many incredible families and couples. I am so grateful for the trust they put in me to help document these special memories. I believe there is always opportunities to learn and grow which is why I continue to invest in workshops and online classes.
What can we expect when we hire you as our wedding photographer?
I offer free wedding photography consultations so that we can chat (over the phone or in-person) and get to know each other better. We will talk about the details of your big day and I will answer any questions you may have. Once you are ready to book, a deposit is required with the balance due two weeks prior to your wedding day. I will also email you a wedding contract to sign and a wedding day questionnaire to fill out so that I have all of the details I need for your wedding.
I will be there to talk about location ideas for your engagement and bridal sessions and give you tips to help each session run smoothly. On your wedding day, I will look around the venue to find the best locations for family photos based on the light and surroundings and work quickly with large group photos to make sure we can fit everything in. I will be there to help with tips on how to cut the cake, where to stand for your bouquet toss, and help get your guests all lined up for your big exit so they know just what to do. I will be there to document all of the posed photos and go far beyond that to capture emotion-filled photographs that tell the story of your special day.
What is your style?
It’s important to me to document emotion-filled photographs that tell your family’s story. I am not afraid to be silly behind the camera to help your kids giggle and feel comfortable being themselves. I bring along little props in my bag to help make it fun for the kids and take the focus off of the camera and make it more about the experience. At the same time, I make it a priority to create quality photos that are in focus and full of life and color so you will want to print them out and hang them on your walls.
Each photo session is edited with a true to color editing style so that your photos feel timeless and accurately represent the colors and surroundings from your session.

We start with a questionnaire to help me get to know your family and help you feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Why should my business hire you for our product photos?
We start with a consultation! This helps me personalize your session and focus on what makes your products stand out. I want the photos to focus on the details and help your customers see the value in your products. I strive to capture a variety of images from different angles so that you have plenty of photos for your website and candid images for your social media. I also strive to help those modeling your products feel comfortable in front of the camera so the photos have a natural feel to them.
What happens after the session?
It’s important to me to offer a fast turnaround time which is why you can expect to receive your images within 10-14 days following your session date. You will receive an email with a link to view and download your photos. If you need suggestions of where to print your photos I am happy to help with that as well.
I am ready to book my family session, now what?
In order to reserve your family session a $50 deposit is required with the balance due the week of your session. I will also email you a portrait contract to sign and send out a questionnaire to get to know your family better and create a personalized experience.
