Duncan Family // Hobble Creek Canyon

I just love watching parents play and laugh with their children. Life is busy and oh so demanding sometimes but when you get the chance to be one on one with your kids, take it. They grow so fast and there is so much to learn from them at every step along the way. I truly believe children teach us so much more then they will ever realize. All the important things, right? How to love, laugh, play and eat ice cream (in the messiest way possible). And for those not so happy moments they teach us patience, forgiveness and hope. I am so grateful for each family I get to photograph. I will always try and get the kids to smile at the camera for a few photos during the session but what I love most and what moves my soul, is seeing families making memories together.

So grateful I got to photograph this beautiful family. I hadn’t seen Kellie in years (we use to live on the same street while I was in high school) and it was so much fun seeing her again and meeting her cute little boys for the first time.
