Kemmer and Kayla started dating in high school during his senior year. Kayla wrote him while he served an LDS mission in Mexico and their relationship continued to grow during the two years they wrote letters to each other. After Kemmer returned home they continued dating and six months later he asked the girl of his dreams to be his forever.
The new Mr. and Mrs. had the biggest smiles on their faces from the moment they exited the temple doors. What a joy it was to celebrate with them! There were so many details to love about their wedding day including Kayla’s beautiful wedding gown and Kemmer’s custom made blue suit. I also loved her simple yet elegant floral hair piece and his wooden tie tac with his initials engraved on it paired with a forest green floral tie.
Later that evening the newly weds celebrated with family and friends at the South Mountain Golf Course. I fell in love with this location for so many reasons. In the heat of Summer it was nice to have an indoor reception to keep the guests cool while they enjoyed savory and sweet crepes. However, as the evening cooled down the balcony was the place to be. The view was incredible and we were blessed with an amazing sunset that created the perfect backdrop while the bride and groom danced for the first time as a married couple. Soon everyone else joined in and it was such a fun dance party with the best view. The night came to the perfect ending at these two had a magical speaker exit.
Wishing these two the very best in all of their adventures to come as Mr. and Mrs. Johsnon!
